Done with inventory! I had to buy another parts box in Lowes this afternoon, but it's all stored away now. Think 2 bolts are missing, so I'll contact Vans tomorrow.

So many small parts!

Edit: Vans is sending me the missing bolts by mail.

Lots of inventory of parts today and oh my so many small parts bags... The bigger pieces were pretty easy, but I'll be busy with the bags for a while!

The fuse has arrived home :-)

Inventory is waiting...

My fuse will be shipped one week from now! Hoped that I would have been finished with the flaps and ailerons by now, but that will probably take me another 4 to 6 weeks.

Barb from Van's sent me an email that the shipping of my fuse has been put forward by a week. Shipping is now in the week of Oct. 14. I'll plan to pick up the box myself at the shipping dock of Fedex Freight.

Slow-built fuselage ordered per fax today!! Should be here around the beginning of November. I have decided to go slow-built everything since this is my first kitplane and I want to put all of it together myself this first time. Also, things are rolling along quite nicely so I should be able to do slow-built and be done next year!

Well that didn't take long. Changed my mind and ordered the slow build wing kit instead. Might go QB fuselage later on or if the wings go fast do a SB fuselage as well.

I've decided that I am going to order the fuselage kit tomorrow. Van's is going to increase the kit price by 75 to 175 dollars on February 1, so this is the time to get the order and a deposit in. I'm waiting for Mike who also wants to order, but is not completely sure yet. If he does, we will be able to use his company as the shipping address: this will both be cheaper to ship to and easier as they have a loading dock there. Looking forward to starting with the fuse!!
