HomePageWelcome to Andre's RV-7A builder log. Total amount of hours spent on N133MT: 1035 After having flown rental Cessna's (or spamcans as so many people call them) for the last 4 years, I have gotten this crazy idea in my head to build my own airplane. After searching around, reading a lot and talking to lots of people I have focussed my attention on the Van's RV-7A, an all metal, low-wing two-seater with amazing looks and performance. This blog will keep track of this personal adventure and will also show the FAA that I build more than 51% of my airplane so that I can register it in the experimental class and get an airman repair certificate for it (to do my own maintenance). Have fun reading this blog! Send me an email at rv7abuilder at mac dot com if you want to contact me directly. Note 26-Jun-2010: reached 1000 building hours on the plane! Current site visitors: 2
